About the Authors
- Debra Vaughn
Debra Vaughn was born in the small town of Marietta , Ohio October 12, 1958. She is a born-again Christian accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior, at the age of eight. Her parents moved to Tampa, Florida when she was an infant making Florida her permanent residence. Debra is in management working in the insurance industry and as been employed with the same company for twenty years. In her spare time, Debra loves to read, study the Holy Bible and meditate on God’s word. She also enjoys writing, traveling, photography and nature. Debra and her husband Joel have been married for thirty two years. They had two sons Jared and Jeremy until 2003 when Jeremy was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident at age of twenty four. Their strong faith in God helped them cope with his premature death. Debra co-authored “It’s Not Coincidence It’s God” as a response to a spiritual calling from God. Through the pain and joy of her life’s testimonials she wants to share her belief that God is Sovereign, Holy, Omnipotent, very involved in our lives and in ultimate control. As a Christian, Debra Vaughn is dedicated to seeking and fulfilling God’s purpose for her life by continuing to serve, share and help others.

Mary De La Rosa
Mary a born again Christian, spent her childhood in California. In her early teens, her family moved around the States as Migrants. She ended up in Florida where she has lived for the last 37 years. Her immediate family, who all live close by, includes her son, her daughter and her husband, and their 2 year old son; Mary's grandson. In 2000, she completed an undergraduate degree in Criminology, and in 2002 an MBA in Business, fulfilling two of her four personal goals in life. The other two, to one day serve in the Peace Corps and to do Missionary work in another country. Among other things, she loves to read, take long walks, do research, write, travel, and anything to do with nature. She has a collection of poems, most inspired by God that she has written over the years. She believes that loving and helping others, like Jesus, is one's mission in life.
